Intubation. Don't be Afraid.

September 16, 2015

Don't be afraid.  You will be the hero or the one with the witnessed failure. Even by yourself, the patient is the witness who suffers your success or failure. You will need to believe in yourself. Practice your skill, hone it. And show up. Then successfully manage the airway. Then Don't drop the mic like you did anything yet. The performance isn't over yet. Keep the patient alive or protected.
Get up if your fail. Use your back up plans. Don't abandon your patient and run out the room.  Stop being a little baby and get up.
Life is pain, get used to it. You will not fail again, understood.
