I would recommend the Miller blade technique from this vantage point would be ideal.
The enemy of the Mac blade view technique is a long redundant epiglottis. This plus oral secretions can give you a false sense that the path viewed in your line of site is correct. Or good enough but not. The ETCO2 monitor will tell you that you goosed the patient unfortunately.
